Here at First Baptist Poinciana we have many ways for you to get involved. Below you'll find just a few of the many ways you can become part of our family as we reach our community for Christ.

Service Volunteer Groups
There are so many ways YOU can help us reach others in our community. Teams include - First Impressions/Greeter, Ushers, Youth, Kids, Child Care, Mission Grounds Coffee, Parking Lot Team, Events Team, and so much more. Each team may have their own requirements and training. The most important requirement for volunteer service is that you are able to commit to being on campus at worship at least 2 times per month.

Kid's Ministry
FirstKIDS is the kid's ministry of First Baptist Poinciana. This is the place for your kids to learn about God "hands on" - they will experience worship, dancing, drama, small groups, crafts, games, field trips and much more as they embark on their weekly journey. Your kids will be checked in and you will receive a parent pass for the kid's area for drop off and pick up. All of our children's workers have gone through a background check and child safety classes.

Music & Worship Ministry
Can you sing? Join our choir! Play an instrument? Join our worship team! We are currently in need of - Bass, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, and anything else we can add to our worship. Come help us lead our congregation in Praising the Lord!

Women's Ministry
Our women's group meets to encourage, uplift and inspire women to follow after God's heart. Special events, outings, devotions, and prayer support can all be found as part WINGS - Women in God's Service.

Outreach at the Park
One of the goals of First Baptist Poinciana is to continually show the love of Christ to our community. Outreach at the Park allows us to bless our neighbors with snacks or other items by setting up at a local park. Come join us and help us #LovePoinciana!

Prayer Team
Our prayer team is a vital part of First Baptist Poinciana. They meet bi-weekly at 6pm on Tuesdays and noon on Thursdays. We are committed to praying for our church and our community. Please feel free to contact Angela or the church office with any prayer requests.

Food Pantry
Every Wednesday evening at 6pm we open a food pantry for anyone in the community. No ID or paperwork is necessary. Since the food pantry is a very productive ministry, we are always in need of non-perishable food like pasta, snacks, and canned goods.

First Students
First students is the youth ministry at First Baptist Poinciana and meets every Sunday nigh at 6pm. Grades 6th-12th are invited come play games, socialize with kids their age, and listen to biblical teaching.
